How to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime

Dates : 13 October - 24 November 2011

What is it?
The Marriage Course is a series of very practical sessions giving any married couple the tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.

It's a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple looking at the important issues in your marriage. Each 'date' you are given the opportunity to enjoy a special meal together and listen to a talk. Then there is plenty of time to discuss the topic as a couple. There is no group work involved at any stage of the course.

Topics covered include: recognizing each others needs, learning to communicate effectively, resolving conflict, healing past hurt, knowing how to make each other feel loved, relating to parents and in-laws, good sex, making time for each other and having fun together.

Who's it for?
It is for any married couple who wants to work together at, and invest in, their relationship.

• It doesn't matter if you've been married for less than two years or more than thirty.
• If you have a strong marriage this course will help you make it even better and reinforce good habits.
• If on the other hand your marriage is in difficulty, the course will help provide you with very practical tools to help you work through the issues.

While the course is based on Christian principles, couples are welcome with or without a church background.

What will it cost?
The cost of the course is R450 per person i.e. R900 per couple. This cost includes work booklets and seven superb candlelit two course dinners along with coffee and tea (R30 for a 2 course meal!). While a welcoming fruit juice will be given at each evening, a wider selection of refreshments will be available for purchase.

We need a 50% deposit to confirm your booking and the remaining 50% to be paid on the 13 October. Payment can be made at the KBC office or via EFT:
