Cell Group Ministry
The Cell Groups continue to meet on a weekly basis. Please contact the office for details on the various venues. The meeting times vary depending on the groups themselves, but the most common time seems to be a Wednesday evening.
I am convinced that the true pastors of a church are the Leaders of our Cell Groups. The privilege of caring and shepherding is one that our leaders have carried with joy and enthusiasm.
As we have visited most of the Cell Groups during this year Jen and I have constantly heard how each Group actually feels that theirs is the best Cell Group in the church. They will not miss a meeting! They feel valued and cared for. They share each other's burdens and joys.

Our Cells have operated independently for much of the year as I have tried to settle into the ministry here. However, we are establishing a portfolio on our deaconate to work closely with me as we want to grow the numbers of our Cell ministry, both of groups and of people who attend.
We will seek to align ourselves with the goals of "30 new families by the end of 2011". This means we will have to co-ordinate and train our Leaders.
